Offensensitivity

This won’t be the last time that we’ll hear that some drama llamas on the INTARWEBZ think Crowley’s political opinions offensive. But hey, who are they kidding? This is AC2012: a write-in presidential campaign for a dead, British, solar-phallic sex magician and religious prophet.

Offensitivity by Berkeley Breathed

Here at AC2012, we think regardless what you agree or disagree with, or find offensive for that matter, you’ll find something interesting to think about in applying the principles of individual liberty and seeing some ways these can be developed into political positions on topics such as same-sex marriage and sexual freedom, freedom of speech and religion, human rights, politics in general, and more to come including abortion, welfare, the drug war, as well as other important and pressing issues like the Jonas Brothers.

Perhaps you will think of different ways to apply the principles of individual liberty. If you do, please make comments on our blog. How would you apply Thelema to the political sphere?

AC2012 is here to start the conversation.

After all, none of the Top 10 Reasons to Support AC2012 has to do with mindlessly parroting Crowley’s every political opinion. His writings are a good place to start analyzing the political issues of our day in the light of Thelema. We will continue to offer Crowley’s political writings as a basis for discussion, and our constituents are welcome to disagree.

Speaking of starting conversations, the campaign logo is a fashionable conversation-starter that you can print yourself at home!

Butthead 2012

Some people think that our campaign is puerile?

About ac2012

We realize that Aleister Crowley is dead. And British. And, moreover, not running for office. Nevertheless, we believe that the most effective vote you can cast in 2012 is one for Aleister Crowley. “The absolute rule of the state shall be a function of the absolute liberty of each individual will.”
